The Italian research in seismic engineering and the activities of Reluis 40 years after the Campanian-Lucan earthquake is the theme of the webinar to be held Monday, November 23rd, from 14:30 to 18:30. The event is organized by Reluis and the Civil Protection Department, with the collaboration of the Inarcassa Foundation. Gaetano Manfredi, Minister of University and Research, Angelo Borrelli, Head of the Department of Civil Protection, Massimo Sessa, President of the Board of Public Works, the President of the Inarcassa Foundation, Franco Fietta will open the works. After the introductions by proff. Dolce and Cosenza on the evolution of relationships between Civil Protection and scientific community and the progress and prospects of seismic and structural engineering, the current research topics of seismic engineering carried out by Reluis will be shown. Among them: risk mapping and seismic improvement interventions, actions of energy consumption reduction, seismic geotechnics issues, progress of technical standards and monitoring research and use of satellite data. The webinar registration will be available from 12:00 on Friday, November 20th on the Fondazione Inarcassa website.
Engineers and Architects will be issued nr. 3 CFP.
