Three-year executive project implementing the Framework Agreement nr. 540 signed with the Civil Protection Department, allocated for "the development of knowledge, methodologies and technologies useful for the implementation of national monitoring and surveillance systems". The project involved 143 operational units, mostly represented by public research bodies and especially by universities active in seismic engineering research.
