From 20 April to 9 May 2026, the travelling exhibition “Earthquakes of Italy” will take place in Naples at Città della Scienza. The initiative is promoted by the Department of Civil Protection of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in collaboration with the Campania Region. It is an exhibition path aimed at citizens and students, designed to enhance understanding of seismic phenomena and promote behaviours that help reduce their impact. Admission to the exhibition is free.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for Monday, 20 April at 10:00 a.m., in the presence of the Head of the Civil Protection Department, Fabio Ciciliano.
The Naples stage of the exhibition has been organised on the initiative of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Naples, Fondazione Inarcassa, and the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II, with the patronage of ReLUIS.
